You are called to live your life wisely. Part of living wisely is making the most of every opportunity you have been given. You can’t do that if you are “drunk” on what the world offers, searching for something or someone to make you feel whole. Don’t live like the
world does chasing after things to make them feel satisfied. Instead allow God to come into your life and fill those areas where you are empty. As you do, you will begin to notice a joy being produced as you focus on the One who made you! Make sure to give thanks for all things in your life, remembering that God works for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8.28) Be intentional in the choices that you make, keep your focus on Christ. Ephesians 5:15-21 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. ----------------------------------------- If you are having a hard time looking for specific scriptures and also that alone time with God, download the YouVersion Bible app!
